Modern topics in semiconductor technology, including crystal growth, epitaxy and characterization of various electronic materials for energy saving: (i) SiC for power electronic and optoelectronic applications. (ii) CIGSSe and Chalcogenide Perovskite thin film materials for photovoltaic and (opto-)electronic applications. (iv) Electrical, spectroscopic and structural characterization techniques to better understand materials processing. Special emphasis on topographic methods.
